eSIM GATE for International Travelers Installed at Hakone Kowakien Yunessan

SKY Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Peter Kim; hereinafter “the Company”), which operates the connectivity service for international travelers J WiFi & Mobile® at Narita, Haneda, and Naha airports, has installed an eSIM GATE self-service kiosk for its international traveler eSIM brand WorldWide eSIM® at Hakone Kowakien Yunessan and began selling eSIMs on March 5, 2026.

Since 2009, the Company has offered Wi-Fi rental and SIM sales under the J WiFi & Mobile® brand for international travelers. As of 2026, we operate eight counters at Narita, Haneda, and Naha airports. This eSIM GATE installation is our 9th location in Japan.

With placement at Hakone Kowakien Yunessan—visited by many international tourists year-round—visitors can set up connectivity on the spot while enjoying leisure activities.

In addition to Japan, we offer eSIMs for 18 countries, including South Korea and the United States. Coverage will continue to expand.

How to Purchase an eSIM

1. Select a plan: Choose a plan based on days and data volume
2. Payment: Cashless payment (credit cards and major QR code payments supported)
3. Enter email address: Provide the address to receive the eSIM QR code and setup instructions
4. QR code printout: The eSIM QR code is printed
5. Start using: Scan the eSIM QR code with your smartphone and complete a simple setup to connect right away

Outlook

Since March 2025, we have actively discussed placement opportunities with venue candidates and agency partners. Working closely with venue owners and addressing a wide range of requests, we aim to install 100 units within this fiscal year. We are already receiving strong interest and will continue expanding adoption.
